i Gangsters & Friends,
What a weekend!  Thank you, Ducktail Crew!  The
weather forcasters scared a lot of people away, but we
were really blessed with only mild rain and NO storms.
At least 55 9th Streeters enjoyed the show, won "Best
Banner" and declined club participation letting Wabash
Rollin Thunder with 16 entries receive the award.
Danny and Bonnie Tabor received the Jody Award and
class winners were:JD & Pam, Davey, Rusty & Debbie,
Artie, Scott & Amber, Rusty & Barb, Steve & Debbie,
Kory, John & Deborah, Larry & Linda, Tom & Daphne, JD
Hodge, Lee & Karen, Earl & Rosemary and Steve &
Brenda.  WELCOME to the new memebers that joined this
weekend: Steve & Elizabeth Gutbrod and Rick & Sue
Williams.  It is really nice having this BIG weekend
so close to home.

Friday evening at the Fairmount American Legion became
a little damp and everyone attending won awards. Rusty
Elliott won the Commissioners Award and top 30 winners
were:JD & Pam, Artie & Sally, Davey, Charlie, Adam,
Lee and Leroy & AJ.

I think Larry & Linda won at the James Dean Show.

Things will be slowing down a little bit now.

Also, Leroy forgot to mark Jack Butler as winning at
Ducktail.  He said that he was daydreaming---not
Leroy!  Anyway, congratulations to Jack & Ann, too!!

Thanks, Adam, I know you have put a lot of work into
this.  I do not have time to check it out now, but
will soon.

Thanks to Brenda for doing the email next week.  If
you have anything for the club the first week of
October, please send it to Brenda.
Brenda, this is going to members and friends.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Earl Savage and Judy
Mercer.  Their brother, Bill, passed away Thursday
morning
