Hello,
Last Saturday at Tipton was a little damp and cool but
not too bad for the 9th Streeters. We found ** Just
Because (Awarded a years membership to ISRA)Louis,
Earl Savage, *Lee Holloway and Leroy & AJ enjoying the
companionship and BBQ with about 80 entries.

Wayne Hawk went to
Charlotte, NC to Goodguys.

Is anyone hungry!! We have reservations at
Wabash
Gardens
(buffet in the basement) for Saturday,
November 10, at
5pm. Please let me know (email or
674-4520) if you will be attending. Also, we have not
listed the menu so let me know what you prefer:
BBQ, Broasted or Greek Chicken, BBQ Ribs, Roast
Sirloin or Ham. What else would you like? We can
always ask!!

Earl is working on one dinner. Do you have any more
suggestions?

Leroy and Ron Roehr left for
Kansas City on their
bikes Tuesday morning and I had other plans so I did
not go out to O'Reillys Wednesday evening. Did not
hear from anyone today, so I will try to call to see
if anything conspired Wednesday evening.
There is not
a lot going on this weekend that I know about, but I
will send another calendar email.

Have a good evening,
AJ

Good Evening, Gangsters,
The Veterans Day Parade is this Friday at
1:30 so
lineup will be at
1:00pm. If you want to show, just
go to the VA before
1 o'clock.

If you are going to Wabash Gardens for the buffet this
Saturday, November 10, at
5pm and have not let me
know, please call
674-4520 or reply to this email so
they will know how many to fix food for. Thank you

Thank you to Kory and Jim for the update on the
Logansport Show.
Everyone won awards with Tom &
Daphne receiving best interior, Dave & Kathy getting
club choice and ladies choice, Steve, Kory -- 50/50
winner, Jim & Mary Ann, Butch & Susie and visitors

what a time of fellowship.

Good Evening,
Yes, this was as good as a car show except that we
were inside.
About 70 people, including 20 9th Streeters, surprised
John Sutton for his 65th birthday. Nice surprise,
Debbie! You guys pulled this one off perfectly. I do
not think he suspected anything until he walked in the
gym door. He wondered why you would not give him time
to take a shower!!

Then, 30 Gangsters shared fellowship and dinner at
Jimmy's
Wabash Gardens afterward. Now, we can say,
sorry for the short notice on planning the dinner.
After finding out the date & location of John's party,
we thought
Wabash Gardens would be good if it was
available. And it was!

If anyone remembers (I did not) being at Wabash
Gardens last winter and making reservations for
December 8, 2007, remember the date but change the
location. Earl has made reservations for Bird's
Smokehouse BBQ in Daleville for December 8 at
5pm. It
is a log cabin building located on the South side of
HW 67 just East of I69 between Racer's Edge and Sam
Pierce Chevrolet. They do not have a banquet room but
we will have most of the dining area.

Our VP was not able to be there so Leroy shared
Jerry's visit to the
Wal-Mart Dist Center's quarterly
meeting where he was presented a check to the
Senior
Center
for $2500. Then, when he took the check to
Carolyn, the director, she was sitting at her desk
praying about how to pay an $800 bill. A big THANK
YOU to Jerry, Phyllis and their daughter for securing
these additional funds.

Reminders:
1) Officer nominations need to be turned in to Jack
Butler (765-662-7819) ASAP and elections will be the
first Saturday in February.

2) If you want to participate in a car show at the
Marion Mall, let Leroy know.

3) 2008 Membership Dues are due January 1.

The VA Veterans Day Parade had about 60 units so it is
growing and lineup was moved to the back of the VA.
The Mopar group had 5 or 6 cars. The Harley Davidson
Honor Guard had about 25-30 bikes.
9th Street Gang had
6 entries:Larry & Joyce, Charlie, Jim Riddle, Harry,
Bob Geimer and Leroy; and we heard that Mike & Joyce
were looking for the parade. Thank you to all for
supporting our veterans.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Leroy & AJ
