Hi Gangsters & Friends,
Don McClain came over and talked to Leroy yesterday
about this same subject.  If any of you are interested
in continuing this project, contact one of our
officers.
Crown City and Rebel Rousers also have a similar
project.

Thanks to Denny, too, for this information.
 Subject: Sweetheart Picture Car Show
 Date: Thu, 9 Nov 2006 19:47:19 -0500

I need to inform you that the Sweetheart Auction
will no longer exist. Do to the "Fabulous 105"
almost doubling the fees for the location and
increasing the price on meals by $3.00. It was
almost like they didn't want us there anymore, Mr.
Jerome was rather nasty about it. With all this
said, we cannot afford to continue to have this
wonderful benefit that we have done for 8 years,
raising approximately $100,000 for children. If
anyone would like to continue this auction, you
would be more than welcome to do so. Marion just
doesn't have a place large enough to handle it
 anymore.

If you should have any questions, you may call Don
McLain, Larry Flannery, Bobby Jenkins, Hollis Baker,
 or my at any time.

 Thank you for your support.

 Sincerely,
 Denny Shanks

If you are going to the Sirloin with us this Saturday,
Nov 18, and have not let me know, please call or email
ASAP.  I need to let them know a more definite figure.

See you Saturday,

fun with you guys.  Bless each and all of you.

November 20, 2006

If you missed the dinner last night, you missed a good
time of fellowship 56 brothers and sisters:Mike &
Joyce, Dave & Kathy, Gary & Pam, Jim & Mary Ann, Butch
& Susie, Gary Hurst, Eddie, Jack & Ann, Jerry & Kay,
Earl & Kathy, JD & Pam, Charlie, Larry & Joyce, Mike
Salter, Denny & Diana, Jerry & Marilyn, Larry & Linda,
Louis & Judy, Gary & Betty, Rod & Karol, Jerry &
Phyllis, Phil & Brenda, Artie & Sally, Ken, Bob &
Char& Roger, Rick & Sue Williams, Bob & Kay, Rusty &
Debbie, Lee & Karen and Leroy & AJ.  I think that is
all.
Butch, are you OK?
Hope Diane Pack is feeling better and Bonnie has a
good trip home.  Gary & Betty are headed to OH today
and then down through Virginia--Have a safe trip.

Some of the things that Leroy mentioned:
Officer elections will be soon:  get your
nominations in now.  WE will have a meeting in
January-do not know where just yet.
   Rod is accepting 2007 dues.
The Sweetheart Picture Car Show has been
discontinued unless you want to continue it.  We will
support you as best we can, if you want to take it
over.
If you have any suggestions to make our car show
bigger and better, let the committee know your ideas.
Jerry said the Walton Center will have the "Contours"
at one of the ball diamonds after our car show.
The December gathering will be Saturday, 12/16 at
5pm (Bob that is 5:00pm) at the Marion Jim Dandy in
the back room to the left.  They have a BBQ buffet or
you can order from the menu.  Please let me know if
you are planning to attend.  email or 674-4520
Some of the members mentioned continuing to get
together inside somewhere on Wednesday evenings.  Two
or three young men reopened Mancino's and with a
little research I found that one is a club
member--Jarred Eib son of Roger & Sheila.   They serve
pizza, salads and grinders.  Jamon, one of the
coowners, said that they can do large salad bowls and
breadsticks like when they cater or individual orders.
They will work with us if we want to meet there.  Let
us know if you are interested.
Also, a Fairmount Museum director asked if the 9th
Street Gang might be interested in helping with the
James Dean show if the Indy Cluster Busters did not
want to renew their contract.  We have all heard some
rumors but this is just an inquiry at this point.  You
can think about it just in case it materializes.

Please share this info with club members that do not
have email and hope to see you Dec 16.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING  and thank you, Father, for all of
your blessings.

Hi Gang,
I forgot some things last night that I was going to
mentionNOooo  not me!

Rod reported that we have 76 members for 2006 and a
balance of $415.36.  He gave Leroy a report that shows
all of the breakdown of club & show expences if you
want to see it.

Rod would like to be releaved of the treasurers duties
for 2007.

Please submit your nominations for your 2007 officers.

Do any of you know a Tupperware sales person?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
