Club Bylaws Adopted January

ARTICLE I
Name and Purpose
Section
1. NAME
The name of this
organization shall be

2. PURPOSE
The purpose of
the club is to attend car shows, cruise ins, car
events, community events and to help raise money for charities and community
programs.
ARTICLE II
Membership and Dues
Section
1. MEMBERSHIP
The first 10
members of this club shall be designated as charter members.
Membership is
open to anyone 16(sixteen) years old or older who owns a vehicle that meets
club requirements and who supports the purpose of the club.
Section
2. DUES
Dues are $10.00 per
year per family and are due before January 1 of each year.
Dues will be used
to offset club expenses.
ARTICLE
Meetings
Section
1. MEETINGS
Summer meetings,
April-October, will be held once a week at a designated time and place.
Winter meetings will
be held once a month at a designated time and place.
Section
2. SPECIAL MEETING
A special meeting
may be called by the officers or at the request of five or more members.
ARTICLE IV
Officers
Section
1. OFFICERS
The officers of
this club shall be President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Sergeant at
Arms, and Show Chairperson. Officers
shall serve for one (1) year or until their successors are elected. Each officer may be reelected any number of
years.
Section
2. OFFICER RESIGNATION
Any officer may
resign at any time by giving written notice to the President or Secretary of
the club. Any such resignation shall
take effect on the date of receipt of such notice or at a later time specified
therein. The acceptance of such resignation shall not
be necessary to make it effective.
Section
3. OFFICER REMOVAL
Any officer may
be removed from office for just cause by a vote of 2/3 of the membership.
Section
4. VACANCIES
A vacancy in any
office shall be filled the following month by election. This officer will serve for the remainder of
the year.
ARTICLE V
Elections
Section
1. ELECTIONS
Elections shall
be held during the first week of January.
Any member may
nominate another member for office.
Voting may be done
by e-mail, telephone, letter, or in person to the current secretary.
ARTICLE VI
Committees
Section
1. COMMITTEES
Committees may be
formed as needed by the officers and shall report to the membership of their
progress and activities at each meeting.
ARTICLE
Permitted Vehicles
Section
1. VEHICLES
The type of
vehicles allowable for membership are:
Street Rods (1923-1948), Street Machines (1949-1972), and Special
Interest Vehicles.
ARTICLE VIII
Member Conduct
Section
1. MEMBER CONDUCT
This is a family
orientated club and alcohol, drugs, nor misconduct will be allowed. Do not do anything that you would do in front
of your young child.
ARTICLE IX
Amendments
Section
1. AMENDMENTS
New bylaws may be
adopted or these bylaws may be amended or repealed by a two-thirds (2/3)
majority vote of the active voting members.
ARTICLE X
Dissolution
Section
1. DISSOLUTION
In the event of
dissolution, the assets of the club shall be donated to charity.
